Mr. Valmore attended Wright State University and Northern
Kentucky
University, where he earned both Bachelor of Music/Performance and Bachelor of
Music/Education Degrees simultaneously. Through long hours of study and hard
work he attained his goal in 4 1/2 years, graduating early with honors in a five
year double major program.
Mr. Valmore has also pursued a technical career in the field of
Surveying/Civil Engineering. He attained an Associates Degree from Cincinnati
Technical College (now known as Cincinnati State), also with academic honors.
David Valmore has worked for numerous churches in various
denominations over the last twenty five years as singer, flutist, and choral
conductor. The most recent ten years have been happily spent with his church
family at Loveland Presbyterian Church. There he conducts the Chancel Choir and
a children's choir, selects music for all performers except the
pianist/organist, leads a small group of children playing Suzuki Hand Chimes,
leads an adult handbell choir and a quartet, sings solos, and plays flute. He
never get bored and always remains positive, that's for sure.
Loveland Presbyterian Church has been, for me, the most
supportive
atmosphere in which to pursue my love of music. I have always been made to feel
appreciated and loved. My choir has followed me wherever the spirit has led
me. The congregation is warm and accepting of all who come in the name of the
Lord. I feel truly blest to be among these Children of God and to be working
along side them in their spiritual journey.
David Valmore has a tremendous musical gift and is always ready to share and teach others. His music direction is a combination of skill, appreciation and love that transforms into a beautiful joyous sound to the Lord. We hope that you will find his direction and participation inspiring.
