
REGULATIONS FOR USE OF PROPERTY AND FACILITIES OF THE LOVELAND PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 360 ROBIN AVENUE, LOVELAND, OH 45140; (revised 11/99)
(Group/Individual Use)
APPLICATION
Application for use of any of the Church facilities must be made through the Property Committee by contacting the church secretary during office hours. This applies to any individual, organization or group planning special social functions other than regularly scheduled Church meetings. The "Request for Use" form must be completely filled out and signed by the authorized representative for the participating group or individual, acknowledging responsibility for adherence to all regulations governing use of Church properties. Approval for such use will be granted only after approval of the Property Committee.
PURPOSE/RESPONSBILITIES
The purposes for which the Church exists are many in detail, but summarily the purposes become one--that of service. The facilities of the Church cannot, therefore, be made available for partisan purposes; for fund raising by organizations outside the Church; for recruitment of members for clubs and societies outside the Church.
Each group will provide adequate supervision by adults, the name of whom is to be presented with the "Request for Use" form. ADULTS WILL PLEASE CONFINE PERSONS TO THE IMMEDIATE AREA IN USE. This will allow activity to take place in other parts of the building without disturbance and prevent property damage. Children should not be allowed to run through halls of the church or sanctuary. In case of change of date or time, please notify Church office immediately to verify availability of room(s). Evening functions of any description must cease at 11:00 p.m. and the building vacated by 11:30 p.m. Organizations or groups will be liable for any damage, breakage, or loss which must be promptly reported to the church office, and provisions made with the chairman of the Property Committee for reimbursement or replacement.
CARE OF FACILITIES
Please meet in and confine activities to room or area designated only. The use of rooms or areas other than two restrooms in the immediate area applied for is prohibited. Use only the lights that are necessary. Open only those windows with screens and please be sure they are closed when you leave. Also, make sure all doors are closed and locked when you leave. The lights at the front entrance may be left on overnight for your safety and security.
This is a NO SMOKING FACILITY.
Report all breakage or malfunctioning to the Church office, whether your group is responsible or not. If you are responsible, payment will be assessed immediately, and the group will be responsible for restitution. Payment will be assessed by the Property Committee.
All active sports should not be played in or around the Church except in the grassy area to the right of the Brock Sunday School wing. Care should be taken with any activities taking place in Nisbet Hall due to possible damage of lights and windows.
Signs and posters are not to be affixed to any surface except bulletin boards and display racks, and must be removed promptly after use. There are to be no markings on the floors or carpets.
Do not move any equipment from its usual habitat without approval of the Property Committee.
No equipment or furnishings are to be removed from the Church premises for any reason without the approval of the Property Committee through the Church office.
Any items brought in by outside groups must be immediately removed from the premises after using.
Alcoholic beverages of any kind are not permitted in the building or on the grounds.
The Sanctuary is not to be used unless specifically authorized in advance.
Phones in the Church may be used for local calls only and are located in the kitchen and Sunday School wing.
Please do not park in the circle drive. Please instruct your members to use the designated parking areas.
You are responsible for cleaning up after use of building, restoring facilities to condition in which you found them. Usage rules for the Butterfly Pavilion are the same as for general usages of the other building areas, as noted above.

Member rate is only for the immediate family of church members.
In the Sanctuary, there is a capacity limit of approximately 250 persons.
In Nisbet Hall, there is a capacity limit of 297 persons with chairs or 137 persons with tables and chairs.
Please make your check payable to the Loveland Presbyterian Church and send to the attention of the Church Treasurer. All fees applicable are to be paid at least one month before the date of the wedding.
In case of cancellation, money will be returned to the signer of the "Request for Use" form.
A separate check for $100.00 will be required to be submitted before use of building to cover any damages that may occur because of your use of the property. Please submit a separate check for the security deposit. It may be submitted anytime before the rehearsal. The uncashed check will be returned to you after 10 business days after use of building if there is no damage incurred. In case of property damage, the check will be held to cover expenses.

Church Policy Regarding Wedding Photography
Loveland Presbyterian Church
The standards of the Presbyterian denomination regard a wedding as a worship service on the occasion of a marriage. In keeping with the spirit of worship, dignity, and good taste, the following requirements are to be observed by wedding photographers.
No pictures shall be taken in the sanctuary from the beginning of the wedding processional through the entire service. Pictures may be taken during the service if taken from the Narthex (entrance area of church) but without flash.
Pictures may be taken during the recessional, but only from the Narthex area.
Posed pictures may be taken before or after the ceremony in the sanctuary with flash. The pastor is available to pose if desired.
The sanctuary must be vacated one hour after service to facilitate cleanup for Sunday service.
Moving of candelabras is prohibited for any reason, in order to prevent wax damage to carpet.
Video equipment without lighting is approved.

Church Policy Regarding Wedding Flowers
Loveland Presbyterian Church
Floral pieces and palms must leave the Communion Table unobstructed and in full view of the congregation. No decorations of any type may be placed on the Communion Table.
Care should be taken to avoid damage to the pews and furnishings. Nails, wires, or clamps are not permitted on the pews. (Ribbon is suggested as an anchor if pew decorations are desired.) No candles or lanterns are to be placed on the pews or in the aisles.
Arrangements should be made for the removal of the decorations within one day after the ceremony or before the next scheduled Sanctuary use, whichever is first.
The Church family will accept and appreciate the use of centerpieces for Sunday morning worship service, if so desired.
