Communion is served the first Sunday of each month and at other special times.  The Lord’s table is open to people of all ages who wish to partake in this sacrament.

We encourage all children to stay with their families and worship together.  However, if you feel your young one is too young to sit in the service, baby-sitting is provided in the nursery.  At the Children’s Moment, all children are invited to the front for a short lesson and prayer, then those in 2nd grade and younger are invited to the Sunday School rooms for Prime Time lessons.  Other children may return to the pew with their families.

Following the service, please join us in Nisbet Hall for coffee, punch and Fellowship.

Contemporary Worship

Please join us for our Contemporary Worship service on the first Sunday of each month except June, July and August.  The service begins at 12:00 p.m.

L:  Let us draw near and together declare the glory and majesty

     of God.

P:  Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is

     and is to come!

L:  God alone is our creator and redeemer.  He alone is worthy of

       worship and praise.

*Call to Confession

*CORPORATE PRAYER OF CONFESSION

Almighty God, we are people who fall short of your righteousness

in so many ways.  We allow prejudice into our hearts and thoughts.

We refuse to forgive others.  We freely participate in the sin of

gossip.  We selfishly think only of ourselves spending our time and

money accordingly.  We allow our doubts to overcome our faith.

Please  forgive us!  Restore our right relationship with you that

through us  you may continue to build your kingdom.  We ask these

things  through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Silent confession

*ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS

L:  Jesus Christ went to the cross in our place taking upon himself what we

deserve, so that God’s justice would be met through him for us.

P:  Through Jesus Christ we are forgiven and have peace with

       God.  Amen.

*Sharing the Peace of Christ

L:  Because God has forgiven us, we share in Christian fellowship with one

another. May the Peace of Christ be with you.

  P:  And also with you.

(share a sign of the peace with those nearby)
