This month’s Mission Project is collecting money and donations of diapers, baby wipes, formula and new and gently used furniture and clothing for A Caring Place.  There are baby bottles in the narthex that you can use to collect money in.  Please return the bottles by February 14. 

A Caring Place is a non-profit pregnancy resource and limited medical agency.  The center offers educational programs, material assistance, pregnancy tests, on-site ultrasounds, peer and professional counseling to anyone in need at no charge.  We provide life affirming alternatives to abortion, hope to the hopeless, and practical help to hundreds of young women, men and families that we serve.  Our success depends on you and your generosity.

Your Donation Can Help:

$138.00 can sponsor a client in our eight week Parenting Class.

$40.00 can sponsor a client in our four week Life Skills Class.

$25.00 can sponsor someone in our Women’s Bible Study which lasts 8 – 10 weeks.

$20.00 will pay for one pregnancy test.  We average 39 tests a month or 431 tests

a year.

$15.00 will sponsor a tween/teen in our “Worth Waiting For” tea party for girls learning the values and importance of abstinence.

$15.00 will sponsor a client in our “Second Chance” presentation for someone wanting to change their lifestyle and start over.

$7.000.00+ is the anticipated cost of providing on-site ultrasounds for clients.  It is extremely important to offer abortion minded clients the immediate opportunity to see that they are carrying a real baby.  $50.00 covers the cost of one ultrasound technician per test.

 $600.00 per month provides the necessary utilities to keep A Caring Place open

and operating.
