I have something big to tell you. It concerns May 4. As a congregation we are going through a five week series called Outflow. Hopefully you’re participating in this process. May 4 will be the fifth and final week of this series. That day is called, “The Church Has Left The Building.” We will, well, leave the building that Sunday! We will gather for worship that Sunday morning in Nisbet park at the Amphitheater at 10:30. We will have Lunch together and take part in two projects. Our main project is going to be working at Granny’s Garden School behind the Loveland Elementary schools. There will be work for all ages and abilities. We’re in the process of finalizing a second project but I do not have the final details worked out quite yet. Stay tuned!
Why are we leaving the building that Sunday? So that the entire congregation is visible in the community that day. It illustrates what were learning through the Outflow process. We must flow out into our community and that is what we will do together Sunday May 4th. Let us give thanks to God for his provision and for this opportunity. See you Sunday!

SPOTLIGHT
Sharon Ward took some time this month to share a little about herself. Sharon is originally from St Louis, Missouri. She came to Ohio when her husband Cliff’s work brought them here. They lived in Florence and Delhi and finally settled in Loveland. It only took one visit to LPC for Sharon to know she had found her church home.
Now 30 years later Sharon is still an active member. She has served as an Elder for several sessions and will soon become a Deacon. Sharon has been retired now for 5 years from her two jobs: teaching elementary school and helping to run their Kennel.
During her teaching years, Sharon was an exchange teacher in Russia and also housed a few exchange students on a temporary basis while they were being placed in permanent homes.
Besides Russia, she has also been to England, France, Switzerland, and Germany and many states within the US. Sharon has 2 boys, Mike and Dan. Mike is now a Math & Physics teacher at Moeller while Dan works for a company that designs and installs office work spaces. Dan and his wife Sara were the first to make Sharon a Grandma. Her time is now spent babysitting her granddaughter Grace and caring for her Mom. And to fill up the remaining spare time, she also sells Lia Sophia Jewelry. She is always looking for new things to try. For her, a New Year’s resolution consists of learning something new and this year she has taken on quilting. The next time you see Sharon be sure to ask her how many sports she lettered in High School since she was voted the Most Athletic. Thanks again for sharing some of yourself with LPC.

Relay For Life
June 6 at 6pm to June 7 at noon
I invite all LPC family members and friends to walk the first lap and then enjoy a free meal at the Relay for Live Event.
We need walkers, tent supporters and donations for our LPC team as we work together. Our goal is to have one LPC member walking on the Loveland High School track for each of the 18 hours of the event which raises money to fight cancer. Be a part of this worthy cause and help LPC Outreach into the community. See the display in Nisbet Hall or talk to any Outreach Team member.

Homearama
LPC members have been given the opportunity to get into Homearama for free this year and earn $20 per person for working for 2 hours in a Homearama home. We have 2 dates, Wednesday, June 18th from 4- 11 and Saturday, June 21 10 – 11. The work is easy and rewarding, and you earn money for LPC. And, you get to see those gorgeous homes for free. Any questions see Mary Frees and please sign up in Nisbet Hall on the sign up bulletin board.
